Why we exist

The way Fijians find work has been broken for years. A hospitality worker hears about a role through a cousin, sends a CV by email, and never hears back. An HR manager at a Suva hotel triages hundreds of Facebook DMs for a single front-desk role. The volume side of the marketplace — the people looking for work — is treated as the cheap input, not the customer.

Talent is everywhere in Fiji. Opportunity isn't. We're building the marketplace that makes that talent visible — premium, public-priced, ad-free, and owned in Fiji.

• Free for candidates, forever. Employers pay. Candidates never do.

• AI assists. Humans decide. Premium employers see an AI-suggested shortlist and per-applicant fit notes — to triage faster, never to filter people out. We don't auto-reject, auto-apply, or auto-publish. The hiring decision always stays with a person.

Who's building this

Talent Fiji is built by Sahil Chand and team — drawing on years of running Proficient Customer Solutions (PCS), a Suva-based BPO that staffs Australasian companies with Fijian talent, and Solar Hub Fiji. The insight that lit the fuse: Fiji has world-class people in every category employers are hiring for, and the platform to make that talent visible doesn't yet exist. So we're building it. Operated from Suva, by Fijians.
